Forklift Operating Information

Operating forklifts requires training an an OSHA certification.  Before attempting to drive a lift truck make sure you are familiar with the controls and have read the user's manual.  Do not drink alcohol or take prescription medicine before operating heavy equipment.   Driving a forklift is similar to driving a car however most models have rear-wheel steering, which causes the vehicle to turn very sharply in extremely tight spaces.
