The second way is to chain the drum to a drum faucet that is attached to the cab of a forklift. For transporting or lifting a person off the ground, a man basket is needed. These are used in cases when repairs or maintenance are done. The man basket has slots at the bottom where the forks of forklifts can be inserted to provide stability. The man basket can only go as high as the forks on the forklift can be raised. For safety reasons, most man baskets have swing doors and safety chains. These man baskets are considered to be safer and more stable than scaffoldings or ladders.

 
Forklift equipments can make any forklift be more versatile. Operators should remember to use forklift equipments only for their intended purpose. Using forklift equipments in ways that they weren’t meant to be used might lead to equipment break down or serious bodily harm.
